Uniquely Woman Conference 2010

We are very excited to welcome Rachel Hickson and Helen Azer as our speakers at this years Uniquely Woman Conference.
Rachel Hickson
Rachel has been married to Gordon for 28 years and they have 2 children, a daughter Nicola who is married and a son, David. Rachel is a daughter of missionaries and lived in India as a child.
Once married Gordon and Rachel travelled the world working with Reinhard Bonnke in Africa and the Far East. They returned to England in 1990 and were the Senior Pastors of a group of 4 churches in the Watford area for 8 years. During this time God began to open doors into Europe and the nations and they travelled with their ministry called 'HEARTCRY'. Gordon and Rachel have a passion to see cities transformed through the power of prayer and evangelism. One of their projects links churches and prayer ministries across London which has developed a city strategy called the London Prayernet. Rachel and Gordon now live in Oxford where Gordon is the Minister of St Aldates, Oxford. Rachel has published two books, Supernatural Communication – The privilege of Prayer and her recent book, Supernatural Breakthrough - the Heartcry for Change.
Rachel nearly died in a road accident at 24 years old but lived and experienced God's healing power in Zimbabwe. Rachel ministers with a passion for Jesus and a desire to see His purposes fulfilled in our day.
Helen Azer
Helen was born in England but grew up in Egypt where she lived for the first sixteen years of her life. She is half English and half Egyptian. Helen went to a German school in Cairo so from her early years developed a passion for other nations, cultures and languages. She returned to the UK with her family in 1994 to finish her schooling and went on to study History and German at Christ Church College, Oxford.
While in Germany studying the history of the Reformation, Helen felt God’s call to full-time Christian ministry. She trained at Wycliffe Hall Theological College, Oxford, and was ordained as a minister in the Church of England in 2004. She completed the practical side of her training on staff at St Aldates Church, Oxford, in 2007.
Helen is now Associate Minister with Heartcry Ministries and part-time minister at St Andrews Church, Cumnor. She enjoys the privilege of touching people’s lives at home and abroad through preaching, teaching and prophetic prayer ministry. She connects with the bigger picture of what God is doing nationally and internationally as she travels with Heartcry and ministers in conferences, retreats and training days. Helen also loves to write, watch films and explore new places.
